Mike Musich was appointed Chief of Police in June, 2009. He has served as a patrol officer, Sergeant, Investigator, and Acting Deputy Chief. Mike has been with the Int'l Falls Police Department since 1986.

Greetings to our web site visitors. My name is Mike Musich and I am the Chief of Police in International Falls, Minnesota. My staff and I take great pride in bringing quality law enforcement services to our fine community. The International Falls Police Department proudly offers citizens such programs and opportunities as D.A.R.E., School Liaison, Operation Bikelock, Student Internship, Bicycle Rodeo, Residence Security Program and specialized group presentations.

Because of our beautiful but remote geographic location, we have found it necessary to be as self-reliant as possible. Our police department includes certified instructors in firearms, chemical agents and defensive tactics. Specialized areas of training include, Combined Response Team, latent print technicians and electronic/closed circuit surveillance.

How to Report a Crime

If you witness a crime, call 9-1-1 immediately. You will speak with a dispatcher who will take your information and dispatch it to the proper agency. To give information about a crime that has previously happened or to speak with an officer, please call 218-283-4416.
