OPENING BIDS (AND/OR QUOTES)

  1. Approve low quote of $10,196 from Baycom to acquire four Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 MK.3 in-squad computers for Police Department use payable from 2017 reserve for capital outlay and one additional from 2018 as needed (Council action)

  4. Mayor’s appointment of two Commissioners to the North Koochiching Area Sanitary District (Council action)
  5. Mayor’s appointment of representative to the Northeast Minnesota Area Transportation Partnership (NEMNATP) (Council action)
  6. Approve Labor Agreement Between the City of International Falls and Woodworkers Lodge W-33, IAMAW, AFL-CIO for the International Falls Police Department, January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020 (Council action)
  7. Approve Labor Agreement Between the City of International Falls and Woodworkers Lodge W-33, IAMAW, AFL-CIO for the Firefighter Engineers & Paramedics, January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020 (Council action)
  8. Accept IFEDA transfer of $6,000 to City of International Falls and authorize Mayor and City Administrator signatures to use funds for consultant costs to prepare a Koochiching County Housing Study per the recommendations of the Housing Collaborative (Council action)
  9. Budget and Finance Committee Recommendation:
    1. Approve agreement with WSN for a $1,200 services fee to prepare a FEMA Assistance to Firefighter Grant application to purchase and install a Plymovent diesel exhaust source capture system in the Fire Hall for estimated cost of $78,000 (Council action)
  10. Fire Civil Service Commission appointments of an Assistant Chief, Captain, and Safety Officer to Fire Dept. (Council information)
  11. Approve recommendation of the Public Works hiring committee for the Light Equipment Operator position (Council action)
