The City Council of the City of International Falls is considering an ordinance to require all municipal water and sanitary sewer expenses to be billed to the property owner rather than the tenant. The City Council has scheduled the first reading of the ordinance for Monday, October 15, 2018 at 4:30 P.M. The second and final reading would be Monday, November 5, 2018 at 4:30 P.M. The purpose for these two readings is for the City Council to hear public comment for or against the proposed ordinance amendment. The ordinance will be effective upon adoption by the City Council and publication in The Journal.
