CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present. Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda. (Council action)

  1. Approve 2020 license renewals, as presented
  2. Approve Patrol Officer Kalan Schneider’s separation from employment effective October 24, 2019
  3. Approve travel and training expenses for two Firefighters to attend the National Fire Academy Incident Safety Officer class in Maple Grove, MN, on December 6 and 7, 2019
  4. Approve Amanda Steffen to serve again as City Beach Camp Host for the 2020 season (third year)

 

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Request approval of Year 2019 license and Year 2020 license renewals that may include tobacco and/or liquor applications, as presented (Council action)
  2. Resolution No.
    -19 application and permit for a 1 to 4-day temporary on-sale liquor license for Koochiching Aging Options on December 6, 2019 at the Backus Community Center for the annual Logging Camp Christmas (Council action)
  3. Resolution No. __-19, Resolution Approving State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreements with the City of International Falls on behalf of its City Attorney and Police Department and authorize signatures (Council action)
    1. Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement Authorized Agency, SWIFT Contract #166074, MN036011A
    2. Court Data Services Subscriber Amendment to CJDN Subscriber Agreement
  4. Approve renewal of the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force Inter-Agency Agreement and authorize signatures (Council action)
  5. Approve Police Chief’s recommendation to hire part-time Patrol Officer Dustin Helgeson to full-time Patrol Officer vacancy effective November 18, 2019 (Council action)
  6. Council discussion on representatives to organizations with joint powers agreements (Council action)
  7. Any other business.
