The City of International Falls Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider all written and verbal comments on the proposed Comprehensive Plan (the “Plan”) on Monday, December 2, 2019, at the hour of 6:30 P.M., or immediately following the 2020 Budget Truth-in-Taxation public input meeting. The meeting will be in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 600 Fourth Street, International Falls, MN, 56649.
The purpose of the public hearing and meeting will be to discuss all matters related to the draft Comprehensive Plan, consider proposed amendments to the Plan, and the Commission shall submit a recommendation to the City Council for adoption of the Plan as may be amended. A member of the consulting team from the Community Design Group will be present to facilitate discussion/questions.
A written copy of the Plan is available for public review in the International Falls Public Library and the Municipal Building. The Plan may be viewed on the City web site within the “Government” heading and at the following link:

The meeting may include a quorum (three or more) of the members of the City Council and will also include a quorum of the Planning Commission; however, there will be no official actions taken by the City Council.
