City of International Falls – Special City Council Meeting

4:15 P.M., Monday, December 21, 2020

Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 600 Fourth Street

 

Mn Statute 13D.021 allows meetings to be conducted by telephone or other electronic means under the following conditions:

  1. The Mayor determined an in-person meeting or a meeting conducted under section 13D.02 is not

practical because of a health pandemic.

  1. The Mayor and all Councilors participating in the meeting can hear one another and can hear all

    discussion.

  2. Attendance by the public is not feasible due to the health pandemic.
  3. At least one member of the City Council is physically present at the regular meeting, unless

unfeasible due to the health pandemic.

  1. All votes are conducted by roll call so each members’ vote on each issue can be identified and

recorded.

  1. Act by motion of majority vote to recess to a closed meeting in accordance with M.S. 13D.05 that specifies meetings having data classified as not public are required to be closed per Subd. 2, (3) and/or (4).
  2. Act by motion to adjourn closed meeting session and reconvene open meeting session.
    1. Review Fire Chief memo regarding the Firefighter Engineer position.
