NEW BUSINESS

  1. Acknowledgment and recognition of outstanding performance by Paramedic Nathan Myers – 2021 Essentia Health STEMI Award recipient (Council information)
  2. Consider recommendation from Planning Commission to approve Conditional Use Permit for a Licensed Adult Foster Care– Building Official/Zoning Administrator Kelly Meyers (Council action)
  3. Approve Land Surveyor’s Certificate of Plat Correction for the plat of FIRST ADDITION TO INTERNATIONAL FALLS BUSINESS PARK (Council action)
  4. Acknowledge and accept the Rural Fire Department Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA) Matching Grant from the State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources grant Contract No. 198528, PO No. 195611 in the amount not to exceed $2,500 and authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the Contract (Council action)
  5. Consider request to hire a paid on-call EMT-B, as requested by Chief Adam Mannausau (Council action)
  6. Adopt Resolution No. ___-2021 authorizing execution of Mn Department of Transportation Airport Improvement Grant excluding Land Acquisition – Minnesota Agreement No. 1048416, Project No. A3601-113 (Council action)
  7. Committee-of-the-Whole recommendations:
    1. Consider Snow & Ice Control Policies (Council action)
    2. Consider adopting Resolution No. ___-2021 dedicating city owned property, for road purposes, within the Trunk Highway 53 infrastructure reconstruction and complete streets improvement efforts (Council action)
    3. Consider adopting Resolution No. ___-2021 authorizing a limited use permit agreement with Mn/DOT for amenities in the Highway 53 Right-of-Way (Council action)
    4. Consider approval of the draft Agreement for Fire Fighting Service between the City of International Falls and Rural Fire Protection Association effective January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2026 (Council action)
  8. Consider approving the Joint Powers Agreement between the City of International Falls and Independent School District No. 361 for a Joint Recreation Commission for the period of September 30, 2021 – December 31, 2021 to allow time for the two entities to review and propose updates to the Agreement  (Council action)
