CONSENT AGENDA  The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present.  Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda.  (Council action)

  • Committee-of-the-Whole recommendation – approve medical plan coverage for part-time employees as per the Affordable Care Act Compliance guidelines

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Discuss Chamber of Commerce dissolution – Tricia Heibel, President and Leif Larson, Board Chair (Council information/discussion)
  2. Legislation and Land Use Committee recommendation:
    1. Consider On-Sale Liquor, Sunday Liquor and restaurant license for IFalls Group, LLC dba Cobblestone Hotel & Suites with an effective date of May 1, 2022 (Council action)
  3. Public Works Committee recommendations
    1. Proceed with Bolton and Menk for design and construction engineering on the 2022 CIPP lining, manhole rehab, and sanitary sewer line spot repair project for the 12th Ave 2nd Street and Stenberg addition (Council action)
  4. Consider planning assistance from the Army Corps of Engineers to help develop a storm water management plan for the City of International Falls in partnership with the Koochiching Soil and Water Conservation District – Ted Brokaw, Director of Public Works (Council action)
  5. Consider Transfer Agreement with Widseth for use of electronic media (Council action)
  6. Consider Resolution No. __-2022 Approving construction plans for County State Aid Hwy No. 24-State Project 036-624-023 (Council action)
  7. Consider Resolution No. __-2022 Approving construction plans for County State Aid Hwy No. 7-State Project No. 036-607-004, County State Aid Hwy No. 24-State Project 036-624-025, and County State Aid Hwy No. 47-State Project 036-647-005 (Council action)
  8. Committee-of-the-Whole recommendations:
    1. Consider appointments to the Ambulance Taxing District steering committee, as requested by the Koochiching County Board of Commissioners Committee-of-the-Whole meeting on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 (Council action)
    2. Authorize up to $1,000 for the League of Minnesota Cities Charter Assistance Program to perform a review of the revised Home Rule Charter, as requested by the Charter Commission (Council action)
    3. Consider Memorandum of Agreement with Century College for clinical experience for students of emergency medical services programs enrolled in the College (Council action)
    4. Approve Resolution No. __ -2022 Reestablishing 2022 Polling Places for the City of International Falls (Council action)
