A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of International Falls, Minnesota was held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building on the 19th day of September, 2022 at the hour of 5:30 P.M.

REPORTS:
Reports of the Administrator, Attorney, and Department Heads |
City Administrator Bergstrom shared that Business License renewals will be mailed out to businesses in the next couple of weeks. Also, assessments of delinquent blight, water and sewer, and rental licensing accounts will be available at the next council meeting for approval to the tax certification roll.
The International Falls Fire/Rescue/EMS Activity Report for August 2022 was available for review. |
Reports of Mayor and Council Committees | Mayor Droba shared there will be a Special City Council meeting on Monday September 26, 2022 in the city council chambers to review and adopt resolution approving the 2023 Preliminary Budget and Levy.
Mayor Droba stated he has several open positions on Boards and Commissions Committees. The Mayor encouraged anyone interested on being a committee member to contact him. Mayor Droba addressed the situation regarding a homeless individual staying in Smokey Bear Park. He stated city staff have been working with the individual along with the city Attorney to find him a place to stay. |
