A special meeting of the City Council of the City of International Falls, Minnesota was held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building on the 20th day of March, 2023 at the hour of 5:00 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Droba and Councilors Buller, Holden, Kalar, and Wegner
MEMBERS ABSENT: None
OTHERS PRESENT: City Administrator Betty Bergstrom, City Attorney Chelsea Nelson, and Human Resources Sherri Stensland
| CALL TO ORDER and CONVENE CLOSED MEETING | Mayor Droba called the special meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. Mayor Droba announced that the City Council would proceed into a closed meeting session with the above listed present in accordance with Minnesota Statute 13D.03, Subd. 1b, to discuss labor negotiations strategy related to Part-Time/Volunteer/Paid On-Call employees wages.
MOTION by Councilor Kalar to recess the open meeting and move to close the meeting. Motion seconded by Councilor Wegner and carried unanimously. |
| RECONVENE OPEN SESSION | MOTION by Councilor Buller to reconvene open session. Motion seconded by Councilor Wegner and carried unanimously. Mayor Droba reconvened the open session meeting at 5:22 P.M.
MOTION by Councilor Holden to adopt Resolution No. 21-2023 approving 2023 wages for Part-Time/Volunteer/Paid On-Call employees as outlined in Exhibit A effective March 27, 2023. Motion seconded by Councilor Kalar and carried unanimously. |
