PAYMENT OF CLAIMS AND APPROVAL FOR PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

  1. Adopt Resolution No. __-2025, Approving Transfers, Payment of Claims and Accounts Payable (Council action)

  1. Consider second and final reading of Ordinance to update Sec. 10-32 Rules, regulations and traffic governing public parks (Council action)
  2. Approve contract with CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk), Rice Lake Construction for GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) for Water Treatment Plant renovation project in the amount of $11,844,680 (Council action)

CONSENT AGENDA  The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present.  Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda.  (Council action)

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Consider/approve road closure and support for the annual Chamber of Commerce Crazy Daze event on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 – JJ McBride, Executive Director (Council action)
  2. Consider/approve use of Smokey Bear Park for Wednesday Concerts in the Park series, Amy Mortenson and Toni Korpi (Council action)
  3. Consider Resolution No. __-2025 approving application and permit for a 1 day to 4 day temporary on-sale liquor license for the Rotary Club for July 1, 2025 for Riverfest Concert at the Amphitheater located at 360 Hwy 11E – Carol Grim (Council action)
  4. Consider Resolution No. __-2025 approving application and permit for a 1 day to 4 day temporary on-sale liquor license for the Rotary Club for July 3 & 4, 2025 for the July 4th Celebration at Smokey Bear park located at 600 Third Street – Carol Grim (Council action)
  5. Approve hiring two summer employees for the public works department, as presented (Council action)
  6. Any other business.
