OPENING BIDS (AND/OR QUOTES)

  1. Consider three quotes to purchase one 2018 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor (Wherley Ford) and one 2018 Ford Police Utility SUV (Hibbing Ford), authorize purchase from dealer(s) with lowest responsible proposal(s), declare existing Squads #3 and #6 as surplus vehicles upon delivery of new vehicles and authorize advertisement for public sale; and approve one-year interfund transfer of $55,169.45 from Shade Tree Reserve for Capital Outlay to Police Reserve for Capital Outlay Machinery and Equipment (Council action)

CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present. Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda. (Council action)

  1. Authorize advertisement for bids for 9th Ave. Street Improvements, Gary Skallman (Council action)
  2. Authorize advertisement for bids for Crescent Drive Street Improvements, Gary Skallman (Council action)
  3. Resolution Requesting Municipal Consent for County Project SAP 036 332 003 to resurface CSAH 32 from approximately CSAH 24 to approximately CSAH 155 (Council action)
  4. Authorize Koochiching County staff to submit a Conditional Use Permit application to the City of Ranier for rock removal from the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) site adjacent to CR 144 (Council action).
  5. Approve Resolution No. __-18, Resolution for Authorization to Execute Minnesota Department of Transportation Grant Agreement for General Obligation Bond Proceeds – Construction Grant for the Construct New Passenger Terminal Phase 2 Project, Agreement No. 1029301, State Project No. A3601-107 (Council action)
  6. Consider increase in Mayor and Councilor 2018 annual contingency to $1,000 and $700, respectively (Council action)
  7. Any other business.
